For several months, Lucas Paqueta has been in trouble. Indeed, the Brazilian is in the sights of the FA (English federation) following suspicious bets from those around him. Recently, the Times explained that several of Paqueta’s relatives were once again involved in a shady sports betting affair. They allegedly sent money to Luiz Henrique, Botafogo striker, also suspected of fixing. Tuesday, The Sun made a new update on the subject and clarified that the Auriverde international would have parted with a cell phone that the investigators wanted to examine.

Yesterday, the English tabloid continued to make revelations on this issue. So, The Sun explains that his club, West Ham, has hired a lawyer who is considered a big name. This is Nick De Marco. The latter had notably defended and avoided a loss of points at Leicester or Newcastle, to bring about the takeover of the club by Saudi Arabia. The Hammers are counting on him to try to clear Paqueta, who faces a lifetime ban.
