West Ham United are looking to improve their attacking options this summer.

The London club have identified Tammy Abraham as a high-priority target, according to Football Insider. It will be interesting to see if they can agree on a deal with Roma now.

The 26-year-old has played in the Premier League before and he will look to hit the ground running if he returns to English football this summer. He has had a disappointing season with the Italian club and a fresh start would be ideal for him.

West Ham require more quality and depth in the attack and Abraham could prove to be a quality acquisition. The Hammers have already invested in Niclas Füllkrug and signing another quality attacker could prove to be a wise decision. They will be hoping to push for European qualification this season and the Hammers will look to do well in the domestic competitions as well.

 Tammy Abraham to West Ham?

West Ham could use Tammy Abraham

West Ham have a quality squad at their disposal and they have brought in a top-class manager like Julen Lopetegui. They will need to back him with quality players so that he can guide them to a successful season.

The Hammers will have to plug the weaknesses in their squad this summer and signing a quality striker will be one of their priorities. Abraham will feel that he has unfinished business in the Premier League and he will look to prove his worth in English football.

It will be interesting to see if West Ham follow up on their interest with an official proposal to sign the striker in the remaining days of the window. It is fair to assume that he could be available for a reasonable price, given the fact that he is not an indispensable asset for the Italian club.
