West Ham – Manchester City: official line-ups

For the 3rd day of the Premier League, Manchester City travel to the London Stadium to face West Ham this Saturday at 6:30 p.m. (follow the match live on FM). Good start to the season for Guardiola’s players who were able to impose themselves at Chelsea on the first day before showing their superiority against Ipswich Town by winning 4-1 with a hat-trick from Haaland. The 9 out of 9 before the international break is in sight for the Cityzens who are aiming for a fifth consecutive league title. The Hammers have righted the ship after the home defeat against Aston Villa, they then won against Crystal Palace before beating Bournemouth in the cup. Lopetegui has with a squad built to go for a European qualification at the end of the season.

For the line-ups, Guardiola lines up his usual 4-3-3 which will become a 3-2-4-1 with Rico Lewis who will integrate the midfield on the phases with the ball. Akanji, Dias and Gvardiol complete the defense. Kovačić continues in midfield with De Bruyne and Bernardo. Grealish starts on the left wing. Lopetegui also starts with a 4-3-3 with Wan-Bissaka starting and Emerson on the other side in defense. Paquetá in the middle supported by Rodriguez and Alvarez. Kudus, Bowen and Antonio to form the attacking trio.

Manchester City: Ederson – Lewis – Akanji, Dias, Gvardiol – Bernardo, Kovačić, De Bruyne (cap.) – Doku, Haaland, Grealish.
