West Ham United are reportedly keen on the Bayer Leverkusen forward Victor Boniface.

According to reports, West Ham director Tim Steidten is keen on the Bundesliga striker and it remains to be seen whether the Hammers come forward with a concrete proposal to sign the player.

The 23-year-old Nigerian has 16 goals and 8 assists to his name across all competitions and he could prove to be the ideal alternative to players like Danny Ings and Michail Antonio.

Antonio is well past his peak and Ings remains unreliable in terms of availability and fitness.

The Hammers have put together an impressive squad and signing a reliable goal scorer could take them to a whole new level.

Boniface could complete the West Ham front three alongside Mohammed Kudus and Jarrod Bowen.

It will be interesting to see if the Hammers can secure an agreement with the German club and convince the player to join them.
