West Ham are anticipating a dramatic end to the January transfer window as the club looks to build upon an impressive start to the season.
The Hammers are performing well in both the Premier League and Europa League, but several high-profile absentees have taken their toll and led to exits in both cup competitions within a month.

Phillips underwent his medical on Thursday and the loan move will be completed imminently.
He is expected to be signed in time to feature in the Hammers' next game, against Bournemouth in the Premier League on February 1.
Pep Guardiola has confirmed the switch, telling his press conference: "He travelled to London yesterday to do a medical test although it's not completely done.
"Hopefully it will be a good six months for him and he can play the minutes he deserves and I couldn't give to him.
"He's an exceptional human being."

West Ham are among the Premier League clubs who have been alerted to the possibility of signing Callum Wilson, talkSPORT understands.
England international Wilson is into the final 18 months of his contract at Newcastle, and the Magpies could be forced to consider offers of between £18m and £20m to help ease their concerns over breaching Premier League profit and sustainability rules.
Some senior figures at West Ham believe they need to sign a new No.9 this window while Chelsea are also interested.
It's a bargain price for a proven Premier League goalscorer, with the England international managing a record of 86 goals in 215 top flight appearances for Bournemouth and Newcastle.
