Arsenal will be looking to build on their win over Liverpool when they travel across London to face rivals West Ham this weekend. 

The Gunners won a huge title clash against the Reds at the Emirates last weekend to reduce the gap to the league leaders to only two points.

And Mikel Arteta’s side are now aiming to keep the pressure on Jurgen Klopp by continuing their winning momentum against the Hammers. 

David Moyes is coming under some pressure with his team winless in four but they still remain seventh and are pushing for a place in Europe again. 

West Ham vs Arsenal: Terrific Trossard

Leandro Trossard wrapped up the win for Arsenal against Liverpool last Sunday. 

The Belgian has only played a bit-part role for the Gunners since joining from Brighton last January but he has still made a big influence. 

Following his latest strike, Trossard is now averaging a goal or assist every 99 minutes in the Premier League for Arteta’s men. 

He has six goals and 11 assists in just 1,684 minutes and that is a record only bettered by two Arsenal legends. 

Thierry Henry and Robin van Persie are the only players to have a better minutes per goal involvement average for the club. 

If he can keep up this impressive record, Trossard could end up playing a key part in Arsenal’s title challenge this season. 

Trossard has a superb record in the Premier League for Arsenal Arsenal have lost just one of their last 15 Premier League away games against West Ham (W9 D5), going down 1-0 in January 2019. Current Gunner Declan Rice scored the winner for the Hammers that day. West Ham are looking to complete the Premier League double over Arsenal for the first time since 2006-07, following their 2-0 win at the Emirates Stadium in December.

There will be concerns over the fitness of West Ham goalkeeper Alphonse Areola after he was subbed off with a concussion against Man United. 

If he isn’t deemed okay to play, Lukasz Fabianski will start between the sticks with Areola joining Michail Antonio and Lucas Paqueta on the sidelines. 

Kalvin Phillips will be hoping he can return to the starting line-up after already losing his place following a poor debut. 

As for Arsenal, Gabriel Jesus missed the win over Liverpool with a problem that Arteta admitted wasn’t too serious. 

So he could return to action up front while Takehiro Tomiyasu will be back from the Asian Cup. 

Bukayo Saka took a couple of hard hits last time out, but he’s expected to have shaken them off by the weekend.

Arsenal are third in the Premier League, but talkSPORT's Danny Murphy believes winning the Champions League could be more achievable.

When asked on White and Jordan if he thinks the Gunners can win the Champions League, he said: "Well they'd have to do tremendously well at certain points in the season where they'd be trying to win the Premier League as well.

"But in one-off games... last year when Arsenal turned up to play City you kinda think, 'They're gonna get done.'

"They turn up to Liverpool and you think, 'Liverpool are favourites.' In one-off games this season, they've shown against Man City, beat them, against Liverpool, beat them, they can beat the best. Man City are the best team in Europe, they've beaten them.

"Away from home, they've gone to Anfield and got a credible draw, let's see how they do at the Etihad.

"But in the Champions League when things can go [either way], you could argue they've probably got more chance of that than the Premier League with City's history.

"Because in one-off games they've shown they're capable. City over 38 games are relentless, City in the Champions League can have a bad day."
