Among the smallest budgets in Ligue 1, Montpellier charges high salaries for its best players.
With a budget of 50 million euros, Montpellier is one of the small clubs in Ligue 1. Only four teams have a more modest budget.
However, the Hérault club does not hesitate to pay its best players well. As proof, Teji Savanier and Whabi Khazri, the highest paid players at MHSC, receive some 180,000 euros per month, according to figures from L'Equipe.
