In the wake of its historic season, RC Lens saw its payroll increase drastically.

RC Lens continues to grow. Vice-champion of France last season after having worried PSG for a long time, the Artesian club is now playing with the big fish of Ligue 1.

His return to the Champions League this season was accompanied by a drastic increase in his budget, the fifth in L1 with 118 million euros.

However, salaries have not soared. But, Elye Wahi, recruited to make Loïs Openda forgotten, was offered the biggest salary of the club, on the same line as Brice Samba with 210,000 euros monthly, according to L'Equipe.
