Social Media Reacts To Angela White’s Upcoming ‘LHHMIA’ Debut
White’s announcement comes about a month before ‘Love & Hip Hop Miami’ season six is set to premiere in November. Her Instagram post consisted of a branding photo, which reveals she’ll be going by her legal name, Angela. As previously reported, Angela swapped out her popular influencer name, Blac Chyna, for her actual name early last year.
The promo photo shows Angela White rocking her new signature finger waves look with what looks like a white dress and lengthy claw-shaped nails. She kept her announcement caption simple, writing, “Things just got HOTTER! I’ll officially be joining the Love & Hip Hop Miami franchise for season 6!” The new season will debut on Nov. 18.
In her comment section, supporters questioned her decision to join the franchise, which often features problematic storylines involving fights, infidelities, treacherous friendships, complicated business moves, and more.
@latiannamarie wrote, “Noooooo you’ve come so far.” @quii_tah shared a similar reaction, writing, “Noooooo.. this is going to be messy and mess up your focus.”
Meanwhile, @_honey.bai added, “I love you down , but I don’t think you belong on this platform. There’s too much bad energy that can tarnish your growth.”
@gilbertking_ agreed, but still wished Angela White well. He wrote, “Congratulations, but honestly, you’re bigger and better than that show. still can’t wait to see you on there.”
@royalty_style24 said, “Definitely not a platform for you. You’ve come too far for this. From South Africa with love.”
@taiadelcameron and @zhamar2k77 both stated that Angela has grown beyond shows like ‘Love & Hip Hop Miami.’ The first wrote, “You are too good for this! Keep getting parts in shows, this is so beneath you,” while the second added, “Congratulations but I feel that your growth has put you above that show.”
Derrick Milano Reveals What Fans Can Expect From Them On The Reality Show
Earlier this week, Angela’s fiancée, Derrick Milano, opened up about their upcoming appearances on the reality show. The Grammy-winning songwriter told REVOLT that he and Angela White plan to push “positivity, Black love, spirituality” on the show. Additionally, he hopes to show how conflicts in relationships can be diffused and fixed.
That’s not all, though. Milano says fans will be able to see the couple collaborate and “make music from top to bottom.” White’s daughter, Dream Kardashian, has followed in her mother and cousin North West’s footsteps. Milano said his future stepdaughter has about four songs “ready to go.”
“Angela’s thought process when creating music is she knows what she wants to say, how she wants to say it, and the message she wants to put out,” Derrick Milano said. “Everything that she’s doing, she has her hands on and she’s extremely motivated.”
He said the experience so far “has been fun.” Milano assured the outlet that he and Angela would “control their narrative” and “keep God on their side.”

Note that fans are expressing concern about Angela White joining the show within the same week that a video showed her shutting down her cousin’s attempts to break her sobriety. Last month, she celebrated two years of being on a clean streak.
