Real Madrid are not the only Spanish giants wooing Kylian Mbappé for a transfer this summer.
FC Barcelona officials are reportedly actively discussing a possible transfer of PSG striker Kylian Mbappé.
At the end of his contract in June, the French international has already informed his Parisian management that he will not extend his lease. He is therefore considering his future options. Real Madrid is still considered the favorite for the acquisition of the French star. However, it seems that Barca’s arch-enemy is ready to foil his plans.
Barça ready to try their luck for Mbappé
The Blaugrana are currently seeking to find out about the former Monegasque’s claims. This is what local journalist Jota Jordi said on the show El Chiringuito. Jordi revealed: “We talked about Mbappé in the Barça offices… And we tried to find out if he had already been recruited by Real Madrid.”
If he takes charge of the Nou Camp rather than the Bernabeu, Mbappé could possibly find his former coach in Paris, Thomas Tuchel. The German would indeed be among the candidates to succeed Xavi.
