Here’s What DDG Said In His New Song
As mentioned, DDG first teased his song on his streaming account. According to the video, over 8,500 people tuned in at the time. He kicked off the track by saying, “Don’t take my son ’cause he all I got.” He then raps about “having fun” with other women but not loving them.
“You tell me that you gon’ move on, but I know you not, trying to make me pay to see my son that gon’ make me hot. That’ll make me pissed, that’ll make me sick. Playing games like Twitch,” DDG raps. Adding, “…It’s not about the money, it’s more about the principle. You know I’m rich, cause the young n***a a baby and he getting big and I don’t wanna miss.”
Without name-dropping Halle Bailey, DDG spoke about someone being “difficult” and acting like he does “the minimum.” He added that the person spins his words. “I feel like I can’t win, I don’t know what I’m going to do next,” he said.
“Girl, you know he need his daddy,” DDG raps. “When I’m on the road, I just want to see my family. Code word I need my family.”
As DDG previewed the song, he rapped the lyrics on-camera while his streaming comment section was poppin’ OFF.

Despite teasing the track late Saturday, it’s unclear how long DDG has had the song in the chamber! As previously reported, in his co-parenting rant, he claimed that he’s been tussling with Halle Bailey to be more involved in Halo’s life. He claimed that in order to see their son his relationship with ‘The Little Mermaid’ star has to be “on perfect terms.”
