White House Takes Direct Aim at Selena Gomez After Crying Video Over Deportations

Selena Gomez is the latest celebrity to illicit a response from the White House and Donald Trump‘s administration.

The White House shared a new video and had a message for the 32-year-old entertainer after she shared a video of her crying over the administration’s recent deportations and approach to immigration.

“All my people are getting attacked, the children. I don’t understand. I’m so sorry, I wish I could do something but I can’t. I don’t know what to do. I’ll try everything, I promise,” she said in between tears.

Selena took the video down shortly after amid backlash, writing, “Apparently it’s not ok to show empathy for people.”

She then laughed off a senatorial candidate’s call for her deportation in response to her video.

In a new post on social media, the White House shared a video of three mothers of victims of murders by illegal aliens.

“Seeing that video, it’s hard to believe that it’s actually genuine and real because she’s an actress,” Alexis Nungaray, the mother of Jocelyn Nungaray, said in the video. “My daughter was a child. There’s many other children whose lives were taken due to people who crossed here illegally.”

“You don’t know who you’re crying for. What about our children who were brutally murdered and raped and beat to death and left on the floor by these illegal immigrants?” Tammy Nobles, the mother of Kayla Hamilton, added. “They didn’t cry for our daughters.”

“I just feel like it’s a ruse to deceive people and to garner sympathy for lawlessness,” Patty Morin, the mother of Rachel Morin, said. “No one has stood up except for us mothers to cry out about our children.”

In the video, the three mothers also praised Trump for his immigration policies.
