A couple for ten years, Yoann Gourcuff and Karine Ferri are the parents of three children. But not only.
Yoann Gourcuff makes no secret of it. Forced to leave the field in the winter of 2019 after a last failed experience in Dijon, the former midfielder is thriving in his new life as a family man. “I’m enjoying it. I have no problem saying that I am a stay-at-home dad. The days are busy, but seeing my children grow every day is a privilege,” he confided in the columns of Ouest-France last spring, adding: “I take care of my children, my wife regularly goes to Paris for her work. This takes time and requires organization. »
In a relationship since 2011 and married in June 2019, Yoann Gourcuff and Karine Ferri are the parents of three children, Maël born in 2016, Claudia born in 2018 and Sasha born in 2023. But the former French international and his wife are also the masters of two dogs, who are an integral part of the family. “ I also walk my two dogs every day for at least an hour, regardless of the weather, when the children are at school. It’s calming », Said the native of Ploemeur, who returned to live in his hometown at the end of his career.
Karine Ferri very committed to the animal cause
An animal lover and very committed to the animal cause, Karine Ferri has been actively campaigning for adoption for several years. She also put her advice into practice by adopting Bella, a young Labrador, in the fall of 2021. “What a pleasure to write to you to announce this beautiful news… We present to you Bella. Bella has just joined our family. She is 5 months old. We had been looking for an adult dog or puppy to make happy for a while and she was the one who crossed our path. She already brings happiness to our family and we are doing everything to make hers”she wrote on Instagram.
Bella is the couple’s second dog, who has another Labrador, Dolmen, the family cat who inherited the name Menhir. Unlike the former Bordeaux resident, the two dogs are also entitled to their Instagram account on which Karine Ferri regularly posts photos.
