The dad of three has shared glimpses of his kids on social media, including a picture of his family of five at the Ohio State Fair. “Eleven years ago I brought my new girlfriend to the Ohio state fair. We came back today with three kids in tow and I got to judge the rib competition (the toddler helped). What an awesome birthday!” he captioned the post. Vance and Usha welcomed their first child, son Ewan, in June 2017. Son Vivek was born in February 2020, whom he addressed on the Senate floor in 2024. Vivek “was 3 years old yesterday but turned 4 today,” he announced, regretting he couldn’t attend his son’s “birthday dinner,” but assured him: “Daddy loves [him] very much” before reading the Dr. Seuss book Oh, The Places You’ll Go! out loud “because maybe you can watch it at home,” via The Hill. The couple welcomed their third child, daughter Mirabel, in December 2021. He shared the news on Instagram from the hospital. “We were blessed with an early Christmas present this year. Everyone please meet Mirabel Rose Vance, our first girl. Mama and baby both doing great, and we’re feeling very grateful this Christmas season,” he wrote at the time.
