Puka Nacua is a NFL superstar! The 23-year-old Los Angeles Rams wide receiver has been steadily making a name for himself throughout the years, rising up in the 2023 NFL season and beyond after setting rookie records for receiving yards and receptions, along with being named to the Pro Bowl, and as a second-team All-Pro. Naturally, fans are also curious about his personal life off of the football field, and whether there’s anyone special in his life. Keep reading to find out more… Puka Nacua has ben dating his girlfriend Hallie Aiono for about four years. The two met while he was still a student at Brigham Young University. She grew up in Phoenix, Arizona with her three siblings, including Alex Aiono, who is a massively popular singer and Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin actor who rose to fame thanks to YouTube covers. The two are very close, and often post with each other on social media. The couple are both Polynesian in descent: his grandmother and mother immigrated from West Samoa, while Hallie’s dad is half-Samoan, half-Maori, as her brother Alex explained in an interview. “That’s where the Polynesian roots are for my family. Aiono is a Samoan last name. There’s a ton of Aionos in the Samoan culture. It’s like the last name Smith,” he said. Hallie is based in L.A., and according to her LinkedIn, she’s worked as a paraprofessional at Lauren’s Institute For Education with children with special needs. She also worked as a dental assistant, as well as a content creator for NewNew. She’s got quite a big presence on social media across Instagram and TikTok! In January 2024, she posted a TikTok of herself watching her boyfriend Puka‘s game as he was set to beat the rookie record for receiving yards and receptions. “Today is a very big day. Puka is gonna hit the rookie record for receiving yards and receptions. He only needs four catches and 29 yards,” she explained. She posted another video after he broke the record, revealing decorations for him and aa steak dinner as he flew home from his game against the San Francisco 49ers. “So Puka did hit his record…like that is so insane, I never doubted him but like the more people are talking about it, I’m like ‘Yeah, that is crazy,’ ” she said. “But it’s like Puka, like yeah, he was meant to do this. Nothing surprising, but very, very exciting.” Even earlier, she posted a video in October 2023 watching him score his first touchdown in the NFL, where she began to cry at the accomplishment.
