One of the big mysteries of Tell Me Lies‘ second season has been who has repeatedly been calling Bree (Cat Missal) towards the end of season two. For a recap, if you need a refresher, in the 2015 timeline, Bree has been seen either ignoring a call from a private number, or in a heated discussion with someone trying to get them to leave her alone. Fan theories have pointed to Oliver (Tom Ellis), Marianne (Gabriella Pession), or a possible family member of Bree’s who we haven’t met yet. Now, the show’s creator and showrunner, Meaghan Oppenheimer, is revealing 2 characters that are not involved in this mystery. Keep reading to find out more… When asked by Variety who is calling Bree, Meaghan responded, “I can’t say, because that would be a reveal in a later season. But it’s not Stephen and it’s not Oliver.” So, Jackson White‘s Stephen and Tom Ellis‘ Oliver are both not calling Bree. It also would likely not be anyone involved in the wedding festivities, as they are all with Bree at the time of the calls. We’ll have to wait and see!
