Andrew Burnap is making his major motion picture debut in Disney’s Snow White and audiences likely won’t be familiar with him yet, so lets fill you in! The 34-year-old actor got his start in the entertainment industry on Broadway and he’s already a Tony Award-winning actor. Keep reading to find out more… Andrew had his big break in 2019 as the star of the Broadway play The Inheritance, for which he won the Tony Award for Best Leading Actor in a Play. He later starred in the 2023 revival of the classic musical Camelot and is currently appearing in the Shakespeare play Othello opposite Denzel Washington and Jake Gyllenhaal. In addition to his Broadway appearances, Andrew starred alongside Brandy in A24′s 2024 movie The Front Room and he appeared in the Apple TV+ series WeCrashed and the Hulu series Under the Banner of Heaven. Back in 2020, Andrew opened up about his sexuality while talking about his Broadway play The Inheritance and he explained why he no longer identifies himself as a straight man. “I very much, before this play, identified as a straight man. I think I’ve benefited from the privilege of being assumed as straight my entire life, but I don’t identify that way,” Andrew told Glamour UK. “It’s been interesting to have people assume that I am that, and that’s been difficult for me because I am in a place in my life where I feel like I’m in a space of expansion and stepping into the full version of myself, and certainly through my own sexuality. I’m sort of falling into the category of curiosity, questioning and trying to understand my full self, and that’s a really vulnerable, scary but also beautiful place to be.” So, is Andrew dating anyone right now or is he single?
