Things got heated on The View between moderator Whoopi Goldberg and guest Charlamagne tha God when they talked about Joe Biden pardoning his son Hunter.

Charlamagne expressed that the criticism Democrats faced was valid as they “stand on this moral high ground all the time” and “act so self-righteous.” The Breakfast Club radio show host believed that Biden was lying when he said nobody was above the law and ended up pardoning his son.

“I’m going to stop you for a second,” Goldberg said, interrupting Charlamagne, who looked surprised and said, “Oh, oh.”

Goldberg explained to Charlamagne that he didn’t know if Biden was lying, adding, “We don’t know why he changed.”

“I think he changed his mind because he got sick of watching everybody else get over,” the Sister Act star said. “And this is just my feeling because at some point you get to a place where you just go, ‘So I’m just going to follow the straight and narrow always,’ because that’s what’s expected of Democrats.”

Charlamagne interjected, saying that it’s Democrats’ fault for going “out there, and they stand on this moral high ground. They don’t have to do that.” Goldberg asked if he was made at Biden for changing his position with the radio host saying he wasn’t mad at pardoning Hunter, to which the Color Purple star said, “But you sound like you’re mad.”

Goldberg asked the panel, “What is it that makes people flip out with Joe?” but doesn’t seem to have the same kind of energy as Donald Trump when he flip-flops.

Charlamagne suggested that political parties have become like rooting for a sports team, and people who identify as Democrats or Republicans “refuse to be objective about anything.”

“I’ll tell you when Democrats are wrong,” Goldberg said.

Charlamagne fired back and asked, “So you don’t think Joe Biden is wrong?”

“I don’t,” Goldberg replied.

“Well, that’s ridiculous,” Charlamagne said, to which Goldberg added, “You’re ridiculous.”

Charlamagne clarified that he “didn’t say, ‘You’re ridiculous, Miss Goldberg… I just think that’s ridiculous.”

After the heated exchange, Goldberg asked Charlamagne for a kiss, to which the radio host complied, running over to her and hugging it out.
