Popular Nigerian crossdresser Idris Okuneye Olanrewaju, better known as Bobrisky, has finally revealed why he didn’t grow any beards  again in his life time.

He disclosed this during an interview  with comedian Isbae U, who referred to Bobrisky as an ex-convict on his show, “Curiosity Made Me Ask.”

Bobrisky’s was sentenced to six months jail term, after pleading guilty for naira abuse on April 12, 2024 at the Federal High Court, Lagos.

However, on August 5, 2024, Bobrisky was released, making headlines once again.

During the interview, Bobrisky addressed the curiosity surrounding his appearance, especially the absence of facial hair after nearly four months in prison.

Isbae U humorously questioned him, saying, “A lot of people were expecting you to come out looking like Gandalf, you understand, how did you get someone to bring you shaving stick?”

In response, Bobrisky clarified that his beardless look was not due to any special prison arrangements but rather a result of laser surgery he had undergone before his incarceration.

He explained, “I have done laser, so till I leave this earth, hair cannot grow on my face.”

Bobrisky’s response put to rest the speculations, highlighting the permanent nature of his cosmetic procedure and providing insight into how he maintained his iconic appearance even during challenging times.
