Mark Cuban, one of the original Sharks on Shark Tank, has officially exited the fan favorite reality series. The 66-year-old billionaire was asked about his decision, and if he’d ever consider returning to reality television. Keep reading to find out more… He told The Wrap he’s leaving to spend time with family, and he’d probably never return to reality TV. Mark said, “I’m leaving just to spend more time with my kids — they’re teenagers now. When they were younger, my wife and I got to tell them where to be and when; now they ain’t listening to us. We shoot in June and September, and just getting the opportunity now when they’re getting out of school to be able to spend time directly with them, that’s important. I’m tired of missing that.” However, we’ll still hear from Mark occasionally with updates on some of the 85 businesses he’s invested in since his start on the series. He then said, “I still have to do updates with the companies that I’ve invested in. So I’ll come back and visit, do my updates and I’ll turn it over to somebody.”
