Why Rick Ross gives a shout out to Odumodublvck, Portable, others

Popular American rapper Rick Ross has given a special shout-out to Nigerian musicians Portable and Odumodublvck.

The rapper took to his Instagram to express his love and respect for African culture and music.

Ross also registered his interest in “bringing more attention to Africa by doing a collaborative album with the continent’s artistes”.

Rick Ross sent greetings to: First, he mentioned Odumodublvck, an award-winning Nigerian rapper who has been on a meteoric rise since 2023. Rick Ross recognized Odumodublvck’s talent and contribution in the music industry and expressed his admiration for his work.

Next, Rick Ross also gave a shout-out to Portable, a controversial Nigerian artist.

He highlighted the artistic potential of Portable and recalled the importance of this collaboration for the Nigerian music scene.

These two artists, Odumodublvck and Portable, are also slated to feature on the upcoming album of Skepta, a well-respected British rapper of Nigerian descent. Odumodublvck will appear in the already released track “Jangrova” alongside Edris Elba, while Portable will be present in the track “Tony Montana”.
