Nigerian singer Paul Okoye of P-Square says that young girls will continue to fall victim to ritual killings as long as society pushes and influence women to seek material things from men.
The 42-year-old singer, via his Instagram story on Tuesday, emphasized that women will fall prey to ritual killing and its vices as long as society permits social influencers to push young women to men who can offer them ‘material things’.
Paul’s statement comes in the wake of popular activist Harrison Gwamnishu’s appeal to Nigerians about checking in on their sisters.
The NewsGuru.com (TNG) understands that Harrison appealed to Nigerians while sharing videos of two young ladies who met with Andrew Ochekwo, the deceased man who camped two friends, Celine and Afiba who are currently missing.
Harrison also shared a direct message he received from one of late Andrew’s victims recounting how she was raped in the anus.
“Check on your Sisters, Girlfriend, Wife, colleagues and friends. Some of these ladies Andrew met are ashamed to speak up because of the backlash they will get.
“A girl named Allison ran away from him after she was badly raped and she had to jump down from Andrew’s Balcony and got injured. With the help of the police, that case was CLOSED and Allison paid a huge sum.
“While we are still searching for the whereabout of Celine and Afiba, it’s important we talk to our ladies.” Harrison wrote
Reacting via his Instagram story, Paul Okoye wrote: “As long as you continue to allow some of these idiots to influence your daughters, money money, bill him, bill him, know your worth, know your worth, he must have this and that in his account, blah blah blah, more girls will continue to fall victims.”
