‘Wicked City’ Renewed For Third Season At AllBlk

EXCLUSIVE: The AMC ALLBLK supernatural drama Wicked City has been renewed for a third season with production set to begin in March.

From co-creators and co-writers Kristin Iris Johnson and Serena M. Lee, Wicked City follows 5 urban witches who push their supernatural powers to new heights after uncovering dark secrets and accidentally entering the world of the forbidden.

Season 2 was set three months after failing to stop a magical slaver named The Handler (Karon Joseph Riley) when the Atlanta coven found themselves broken and separated. Jordan (Shaquita Smith) – who runs The Mystic Haven – and Angela (Chantal Maurice) try and fail to find Sherise (Chanel Mack) who’s being held captive by The Handler. Mona (Mercedez McDowell) moved away, and Camille (Taylor Polidore was put in permanent hiding by her birth mother, Claudette (Rhonda Redette Morman).

Unbeknownst to the coven, Tabitha (Vanessa Bell Calloway) and Caden (Malika Blessing) are trapped inside a nightmare realm as Claudette exacts her revenge. Meanwhile, Sherise is forced to do The Handler’s bidding at his high-class magical supper club “Obsidian Dream.”

Next season, the coven of Black witches continues to push their supernatural powers to new heights, uncovering dark secrets and attracting the most dangerous of enemies in the city of Atlanta.

India Marie Cross also stars in the role of Darletra.

Tressa “Azarel” Smallwood and Donte Lee of MegaMind Media serve as executive producers and showrunners of Wicked City. Dale S. Lewis directs the series which is produced by Vanessa Bell Calloway and Melissa Llewellyn-Alston. General Manager, Brett Dismuke, and SVP of Development & Production, Nikki Love serve as executive producers for AllBlk.

Seasons 1 and 2 are currently available to stream on AMC Plus and Allblk.
