Wilfred Ndidi had all the makings of a good deal for OM, OL and AS Monaco. At the end of his contract with Leicester, the 27-year-old Nigerian international midfielder was keen to discover a new environment and opened the door wide to Ligue 1.

Despite discussions with the clubs mentioned above, the man with 57 caps for the Super Eagles is not expected to cross the Channel this summer and for good reason. According to our information, Ndidi has reached an agreement with the Foxes for a contract extension. Good news for Leicester who will be able to count this season on a player who has been playing for 7 and a half years in the former club of Riyad Mahrez and N’Golo Kanté.
