Will Ospreay appreciates the fans who sat through six hours of AEW Dynasty last night.
The length of All Elite Wrestling pay-per-views has been a hotly debated topic over the years. With some believing they are way too long, while others believe the longer shows give them their money’s worth. More often than not, most AEW pay-per-views end by midnight. Last night’s show, however, didn’t go off the air until almost 12:30 in the morning eastern.
So if you sat down in front of your TV last night at 6:30 for Zero Hour, you were in front of the TV last night for six hours to watch Dynasty in totality. While that might be a grueling process for some at home, it’s even more difficult live in the arena as the audience is expected to maintain the same level of energy throughout the broadcast.
All Elite Wrestling’s Will Ospreay took to social media this morning to comment on the length of last night’s show and put over the live audience for keeping the same level of energy throughout the entire show, tweeting out:
“I wanna say thank you so much to the fans in Philly! Last night was such a LONG show with EVERYONE leaving it all out from the opener to the main. We’d all understand if you were exhausted but kept that energy throughout the whole night. Grateful to everyone in that building,” Will Ospreay said in a post.
