Will Ospreay said he wanted to leave The Don Callis Family, and Callis agreed to let him go.
On the July 3 episode of AEW Dynamite, AEW International Champion Will Ospreay appeared backstage and addressed his loss to Swerve Strickland at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. He told Callis that the loss was his own fault, and he could not bring himself to hit the Tiger Driver ’91, but he was not that guy anymore. Ospreay then thanked Callis for everything he had done for him before he said that he wanted out of the Don Callis Family.
Callis responded by agreeing to do Ospreay the favor of letting him go, but perhaps he would ask him to return the favor someday.
