Will Philadelphia Eagles Go to the White House After Super Bowl 2025 Win? Report Debunked & Latest Answer Revealed!

The Philadelphia Eagles are mid-celebration after their 2025 Super Bowl win earlier this month, which means that they could be heading to the White House for a visit.

However, there are conflicting reports about whether or not the NFL team has accepted the invite – or if they’re even going.

A new report reveals that the team actually has not been formally invited to the White House yet to celebrate their win.

A source told The Philadelphia Inquirer that the team has not yet received an invitation from President Donald Trump, despite an article in the U.S. Sun that claimed that the Eagles had already turned down a visit before even playing in the Super Bowl.

Outkick.com founder Clay Travis and Front Office Sports also confirmed that this was the case.

“White House source: the Philadelphia Eagles have not rejected a White House invite. The reports that have gone viral on social media are fake news. The White House has not even sent the official invite to the Eagles yet,” said Clay on social media.

In 2018, the Eagles did not have a celebration to mark their Super Bowl win at the White House after Trump nixed the visit. They were set to celebrate in a presentation on the South Lawn, despite several players, including safety Malcolm Jenkins and defensive end Chris Long, publicly expressing their dislike for Trump ahead of the event.

Trump then disinvited the team.

“The Philadelphia Eagles are unable to come to the White House with their full team to be celebrated tomorrow. They disagree with their President because he insists that they proudly stand for the National Anthem, hand on heart, in honor of the great men and women of our military and the people of our country,” Trump said in a statement at the time.

Ahead of the 2025 Super Bowl, Eagles owner Jeffrey Lurie said: “I’d be honored to go, regardless of who the president is, but we’ll see. It’s ultimately a team decision. I’ll do what’s best for the team.”
