Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are still living separately despite recent reunion: report

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are not in a hurry to move back in with each other after reconciling their broken marriage.

“Call it what you want. They are living their own lives but haven’t completely severed ties,” a source close to the couple told People Thursday.

Another insider told the outlet that the two “are still together” and “have had separate homes for years.”

Reps for Smith, 56, and Pinkett Smith, 53, did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.

The duo, who tied the knot in 1997, have been working on their relationship since the latter revealed they had separated for seven years during an October 2023 interview with People.

“We’ve been doing some really heavy-duty work together. We just got deep love for each other, and we are going to figure out what that looks like for us,” she said at the time.

That same month, the “Worthy” author clarified to Extra that she and the “I Am Legend” star were able to find their way back to each other after the actor infamously slapped Chris Rock at the 2022 Oscars.

At the time, Smith charged on stage to confront the comedian after he poked fun at Pinkett Smith’s alopecia areata condition, which causes hair loss.

“That was a moment that I knew I would never leave Will’s side after all those years thinking I would,” she told the outlet.

Recalling how she attended the awards show with the “Men in Black” star despite being broken up, the actress said, “I didn’t go in there as his wife, but I was leaving as his wife.”

In May 2024, Smith and the “Scream 2” star made their first red carpet appearance together since Pinkett Smith’s bombshell news of their past separation.

The two appeared cozy, as Pinkett Smith supported her husband at the “Bad Boys: Ride or Die” premiere in Los Angeles.

They were also joined by their kids — Willow Smith, 24, and Jaden Smith, 26 — and the “Independence Day” star’s son Trey Smith, 32, whom he shares with ex-wife Sheree Zampino.

Smith and the former “Red Table Talk” host weren’t seen together for months, until they stepped out for dinner at Crossroads Kitchen in Calabasas, Calif., in November 2024.
