Willow Nightingale will wrestle her first match in TJPW since 2022 against Miu Watanabe at Grand Princess 2025.
At TJPW’s “Futari Wa Princess” Max Heart Tournament 5 Finals show, a video package was shown on screen to announce a major singles match for the upcoming Grand Princess event. It revealed that former Princess of Princess Champion Miu Watanabe will square off against AEW‘s own Willow Nightingale nearly two years after their scheduled match was cut due to Nightingale experiencing visa-related travel issues.
Though this will be their first singles encounter, the two competitors have faced off in tag team action before. Willow teamed up with Shoko Nakajima to defeat the team of Miu Watanabe and Suzume for TJPW’s Autumn Tour 2022.
Miu Watanabe furthermore looks to bounce back off a rough start to the year. She previously lost her Princess of Princess Championship to Mizuki at TJPW’s Ittenyon Show.
