Stephanie Vaquer will get a title shot at WWE NXT Vengeance Day.
Vaquer previously earned a shot at the NXT Women’s North American Championship by winning a four-way match at NXT New Year’s Evil. But after Shotzi pinned reigning champion Fallon Henley in a six-woman tag team match, she faced Vaquer in a Number One Contender’s Match. Henley and Fatal Influence cost Vaquer the bout. As a result, Shotzi earned the right to challenge for the gold.
On the January 28th episode of WWE NXT, Henley defeated Shotzi to retain the NXT Women’s North American Championship. Vaquer confronted Henley after the match. The broadcast team then confirmed that they would clash in a title match at NXT Vengeance Day on February 15th.
