The opening of RAW tonight saw a big change to the Women’s World Championship match at WWE WrestleMania 41.
General Manager Adam Pearce opened WWE RAW tonight with IYO SKY‘s Championship on a podium in the ring for some reason. Pearce brought IYO SKY, Bianca Belair, and Rhea Ripley out to the ring. Pearce hilariously mentioned that Ripley was representing Judgment Day, which was quickly debunked by Michael Cole on commentary.
Adam Pearce took the blame for how last week’s match went when he had Belair referee a championship match between Ripley and SKY. Pearce’s solution to fix things was to change the singles match at WWE WrestleMania 41 to a triple threat match.
Bianca Belair wasn’t thrilled about this announcement and the crowd let her have it as she complained about earning her way to WrestleMania while Ripley could just do whatever she wanted and get added.
This led to another face-off between Ripley and Belair making SKY the third wheel. SKY had enough of being overlooked and took down both women before signing the contract and making things official.
