On April 12, Mickie James will head to the land from down under as she hosts her second-ever all-women’s wrestling event from Ballarat, Victoria, Australia. This event, titled “HER,” is part of the four-day Starrcast convention, which runs from April 11 through April 14. The lineup for this card features several Australian-bred talents as well as representatives from TNA Wrestling, AAA, and the former WWE NXT UK.

Coming off a successful title defense against Tasha Steelz, TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace will now gear up to face Australian native DELTA in the main event of HER. Much like Grace, DELTA has been touted as an “undeniable” powerhouse. And given their similarities in strength and size, DELTA believes fans can expect their showdown to be a prime example of “big, meaty women slappin’ meat.” This Knockouts Championship match will also mark the first-ever meeting between Grace and DELTA.

In addition to spearheading the show, “Hardcore Country” Mickie James will also lace up her boots to compete. For this particular occasion, James will be pitted against a familiar foe, Vix Crow (formerly known as Alicia Fox). James and Crow, of course, shared the ring dozens of times during their respective tenures in WWE, mainly in multi-woman action. James and Crow’s last singles match, however, dates all the way back to October 2009, when James successfully defended the WWE Divas Championships at Hell in a Cell.

More Action

Elsewhere on the card, WWE Hall of Famer Bull Nakano will present the first-ever Oceania Pro Wrestling Women’s Tag Team Championships. For this history-making title match, James has appointed two of Australia’s hottest tag teams — PPK (Nikki Van Blair and Frankie B) and The Backslide Girlz (Kingsley and Shay Kassidy). PPK and The Backslide Girlz have faced off on a handful of previous occasions, but given these stakes, both teams are focused on raising the bar.

While PPK and The Backslide Girlz vie for the inaugural OPW Women’s Tag Team Championships, reigning OPW Women’s Champion Erika Reid will defend her title against Lizzy Evo of the now-former NXT UK brand. Reid’s inaugural reign began last July as she defeated Xena at the Impact Wrestling Australian Showcase.

AAA Reina De Reinas Champion Flammer will also be in action as she defends her title against not one, but two opponents. For this title match, Flammer will take on TNA Wrestling’s Jody Threat and Australia’s own Steph De Lander.

In non-title competition, “The Arm Collector” Jessica Troy is tasked with facing her fellow Aussie Tenille Dashwood. This contest will mark the first-ever meeting between Troy and Dashwood as well as Dashwood’s first in-ring appearance since departing from WWE in September 2023.

Finally, six of Australia’s rising (and established) stars will battle in the first-ever Victoria Classic Six-Pack Challenge, which was officially named after former WWE Women’s Champion Victoria. The winner of this six-pack challenge will earn the opportunity to challenge for the OPW Women’s Championship in the future. The lineup of competitors for the Victoria Classic Six-Pack Challenge is as follows:

Charli Evans Lena Kross Tarlee Aysha Caity Luxe Eleaine Hope

Mickie James HER event will be available on Triller TV beginning Friday, April 12 at 9PM EST.
