The build toward WWE Elimination Chamber continues. TNA Wrestling gears up for No Surrender. Kennedi Copeland speaks with WrestleZone, and more! Let’s break it down in this week’s edition of Women’s Wrestling Wrap-Up!

WWE Elimination Chamber Qualifiers Update

With Bayley targeting WWE Women’s Champion IYO SKY for WrestleMania, WWE is now tasked with finding a challenger for the WWE Women’s World Championship. As previously announced, this challenger will determined inside the grueling Elimination Chamber structure at the 2024 Elimination Chamber event on February 24.

After Becky Lynch secured the first spot on last week’s episode of WWE RAW, Bianca Belair and Michin vied for the second one on Friday’s episode of SmackDown. Belair and Michin battled back and forth for most of the match, but in the end, it was Belair who emerged victorious after laying out Michin with a KOD.

The third Elimination Chamber qualifying match pitted Liv Morgan against Zoey Stark. Heading into this contest, Morgan declared that she is on her “revenge tour,” with her main objective centered on getting some revenge on the current WWE Women’s World Champion Rhea Ripley, who took her out of action for six months. For Zoey Stark, this served as an opportunity to prove that she is not one to be overlooked anymore.

Much like Belair and Michin, Stark and Morgan brought out all the stops for this qualifier. While Stark overpowered her for much of the match, Morgan eventually fought back, nailing Stark with an Oblivion for the win.

Liv Morgan Begins Her WWE ‘Revenge Tour’

Following her victory, Morgan spoke with Jackie Redmond in a WWE digital exclusive about her ongoing revenge tour.

“As badly I want revenge, Zoey did not make that easy for me,” Morgan said. “So I just want to let you know Zoey, it was nothing personal, it was just business. I like to call Elimination Chamber, eLIVination Chamber. I think, quite frankly, I have the most experience out of any other female in WWE. So I feel, really really really really really really really, good about my odds. Liv Morgan Revenge Tour — on to the next one. Watch Me.”

The final three Women’s Elimination Chamber competitors will be confirmed over the next week. Friday’s qualifying matchups will see Trinity face Zelina Vega, while Tiffany Stratton takes on Shotzi. The losers of those contests will then have an opportunity to redeem themselves as they compete alongside Michin, Zoey Stark, and Shayna Baszler in a “Last Chance” Battle Royal on next week’s episode of RAW. The winner of this battle royal will claim the sixth and final spot in the Women’s Elimination Chamber.

TNA Wrestling Prepares For No Surrender

On February 23, TNA Wrestling will head to the Alario Center in New Orleans for the 2024 No Surrender event. So far, four matches have been announced, two of which have implications for the Knockouts division.

Coming off a successful title defense against Trinity, newly crowned Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace will now defend her title against Gisele Shaw. At TNA Hard To Kill, Shaw outmaneuvered the likes of Tasha Steelz, Dani Luna, Jody Threat, Xia Brookside, and Alisha Edwards to claim possession of the Knockouts Ultimate X. With this win, Shaw guaranteed herself a future shot at the Knockouts Championship — a shot that she will soon cash-in at TNA No Surrender.

Heading into this title match, Shaw partnered with her ally Savannah Evans to take on Grace and Trinity in a tag match which saw the latter emerge victorious. Despite her loss in tag team competition, though, Shaw remains determined to unseat “The Juggernaut” next weekend.

Elsewhere at No Surrender,  Havok and Rosemary will defend the Knockouts Tag Team Championship against MK Ultra (Killer Kelly & Masha Slamovich). This title bout will serve as a rematch after Havok and Rosemary dethroned MK Ultra to begin their third reign as Knockouts Tag Team Champions. Slamovich and Kelly held the titles for 182 days. before losing them at Hard To Kill last month.
