At some point it happens to everyone, but that doesn’t mean they are going to be happy about it. That is the case with one wrestling legend, who is pushing to still be a bigger part of the show.

Last year, Ric Flair made a surprise AEW debut, saying that he would be with his longtime associate Sting until the latter’s retirement match on March 3. This week on Dynamite, Flair chopped Powerhouse Hobbs and poked him in the eye, marking the most physical he has gotten since his AEW debut. According to Fightful Select, while AEW is not considering Flair, 74 years old, having a match, he has been “actively pushing” for more physical spots. There is no word on if AEW is considering allowing this to take place.
