Welcome to December 2, 2024 episode of NXT, live from the Capitol Wrestling Center! With Deadline this Saturday, the energy is palpable, the stakes are high, and the drama was downright chaotic tonight. Let’s dive in!
Last Chance Iron Survivor Qualifier: Jaida Parker vs. Cora Jade vs. Wren Sinclair vs. Kelani Jordan
The women’s Iron Survivor Qualifier kicked off with a high-octane free-for-all as Jaida Parker, Cora Jade, Wren Sinclair, and Kelani Jordan battled for their last chance to punch a ticket to Deadline. The match opened with pair-offs: Wren and Cora trading shots, while Kelani squared up with Jaida. Double roll-ups and flashy counters kept the early moments frenetic, but Cora Jade quickly asserted herself, dragging Kelani out of the ring and slamming her into the guardrail like she had something to prove.
Kelani rebounded with an incredible springboard to take down Cora, then dove into the ring to level Jaida and Wren. As bodies flew everywhere, Cora hit a missile dropkick that turned momentum in her favor, only for Wren to sneak in with roll-ups and a double clothesline to shake things up. The highlight? Jaida setting up a double teardrop suplex that left the crowd buzzing as we went to break.
Back from commercial, the chaos intensified. Cora hit charging kneelifts in the corners, but Kelani countered with a stunning stepover heel kick, and Jaida delivered a Falcon Arrow that nearly ended it. The crowd popped hard as Kelani landed a jaw-dropping Frog Splash, only for Cora to break the pin. In the final moments, Lola appeared ringside, delivering a spinning backfist that accidentally took out Wren—but it worked in Wren’s favor! She collapsed onto Cora for the pin!
Winner: Wren Sinclair
Still fuming from her loss, Jaida demanded an NXT Underground match right then and there. She threw down verbal barbs (some censored) and dared Lola to meet her in the ring. Ava interrupted, saying the match would happen at Deadline, much to Jaida’s dismay—and to the referees’ exhaustion, as they had to reassemble the ring.
Lola arrived, firing back with fiery words of her own, but Jaida silenced her with a brick-free elbow to the face. This promo was absolute fire! Jaida gets it.
Nikkita Lyons vs. Karmen Petrovic
This match was a battle of kicks, counters, and unexpected interruptions. Lyons dominated early with her power game, delivering a vicious hip smash and locking in a Million Dollar Dream. Karmen fought back with a barrage of kicks and a Sling Blade, coming close to putting Lyons away.
The turning point came when Ashante arrived to cheer on Karmen—only to become an accidental target. As Nikkita charged, Karmen dodged, and Ashante took the hit. Karmen capitalized with her Silent Slice finisher for the win.
Winner: Karmen Petrovic
Post-match, Karmen wasn’t thrilled with Ashante’s interference and walked off without him.
Gigi Dolin vs. Izzi Dame
Gigi Dolin returned to action against Izzi Dame in a fast-paced bout. Gigi’s technical prowess shone early with a snapmare and headlock, but Izzi responded with a tilt-a-whirl counter and hard-hitting strikes. The match turned physical outside the ring, where Izzi booted Tatum Paxley, who was ringside with Gigi.
Back in the ring, Gigi rallied with strikes, a big kick to the head, and finally the Gigi Driver for the win.
Winner: Gigi Dolin
The NXT Women’s Champion, Roxy, hit the ring to address the Iron Survivor Challenge competitors, delivering a scathing promo about their chances at Deadline. She name-dropped each challenger—Wren Sinclair, Sol Ruca, Zaria, Stephanie Vaquer, and Giulia—dismissing their chances of taking her title.
One by one, the competitors stormed the ring, igniting a chaotic brawl. Wren Sinclair made the boldest move, pulling Roxy out of the ring and posing with the championship. The tension was palpable, and the locker room energy only hinted at more to come at Deadline.
