He’s next? There are several talented wrestlers in the world and quite a few of them do not work for one of the two major wrestling promotions. Some of them are free agents who can show up in another promotion either out of nowhere or with a bit of a tease beforehand. We might be seeing that take place again with a former multiple time World Champion signing on elsewhere.

According to Ibou of WrestlePurists by way of Cagesideseats.com, former WWE World Champion Bobby Lashley is expected to sign with AEW and join the company at some point next month. This comes after Lashley’s former manager, MVP, made his AEW debut earlier this week on Dynamite. Lashley left WWE earlier this year when his contract expired after having not wrestled in several months.

Lashley is a force. Check out what he can do in the ring:

Opinion: This is a rather logical move as there is almost no reason to not bring in a star like Lashley if it is an option. Lashley is a former multiple time World Champion and someone who can make an immediate impact in AEW. Let him come in and use his natural abilities to stand out on the already stacked AEW roster. It makes sense and hopefully it works out for both sides.

What do you think of the idea? How would Lashley do in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
