IMG Credit: WWEThey have an idea. We are coming up on the end of the year but WWE still has a few major events left to present. That can make for some special moments as WWE is going to be presenting some important matches on those cards. One of the shows is one of the biggest that the company will present all year and now we might have an idea of what you might see as a main event.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: Him? Update On Brock Lesnar Potentially Returning To WWE
According to Ibou on the WrestlePurists Monday Night Raw review show, WWE is currently planning for CM Punk to challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship at Survivor Series. This is a match that had been rumored earlier in the year and Punk called Gunther out at one point, only for Drew McIntyre to interrupt. Survivor Series is set for November 30 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Opinion: This is something that makes sense as Punk is already a former multiple time World Champion and he just won a major feud against a top star in McIntyre. At some point Punk is going to have to get a title shot and Survivor Series, a year after he made his return, would be a good way to go. It’s certainly a match that has potential and we could be in for a heck of a fight.
