Occasionally you will see a wrestler have a breakthrough role and turn it into a career but more often than not, wrestlers are limited to roles as wrestlers or fighters. A top WWE star seemed to be getting a chance at a major acting role but it seems that things might not be happening as planned.

Reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins had filmed a role for the upcoming Marvel Cinematic Universe film “Captain America: Brave New World.” However, according to Fiction Horizon, the Serpent Society, a group whose members included Rollins’ character, has been removed due to re-shoots and script re-writes. There is no word on if any of Rollins’ material will be in the finished film.
