This includes one match which has already been announced, plus some matches which are going to be set up in the coming weeks. WWE has already started putting together some ideas, and now we know what is being discussed for one major star.
IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WWE Reportedly Had Specific Plans For Recently Released Superstar
In recent weeks, a match rumored for WrestleMania would pit CM Punk vs. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in a triple threat match. However, according to WrestleVotes on a Backstage Pass Q&A by way of Cagesideseats.com, there are some in WE who would prefer to see Punk in a triple threat match with John Cena and Cody Rhodes for the WWE Championship. However, the match has not been discussed in any official capacity. WrestleMania 41 is set for April 19 and 20.
That could work. Check out the Punk with some of the options:
Opinion: This is the kind of thing that you will see take place around WrestleMania season and it makes for some interesting situations. The question becomes what might happen with various people at the show, which makes for some rather surprising results. Punk should be in for a rather big match either way, and that is the entire point of a show like WrestleMania.
