According to WrestleVotes Radio by way of Cagesideseats.com, SmackDown will be expanding to three hours from January – May 2025. There is no word on if the show will continue to be three hours after May. At the same time, Monday Night Raw will be returning to three hours when it debuts on Netflix in January. WWE has not made an announcement about either show’s runtimes changing.

Opinion: These are changes which make sense on paper, as Monday Night Raw has been three hours for over twelve years now and SmackDown going to the same length would even things out a bit. That being said, it has been nice to have Monday Night Raw back at two hours. It seems that it is going to be nice while it lasts though, as we might not be seeing it for too much longer.
