You can’t ask. WWE is not exactly like it was back in the previous decades, as the company has become a good bit more mainstream. It is treated more like a major sport, which grants more access from people outside of the wrestling bubble. WWE has been capitalizing on this in recent months, though now it seems that they are changing things up after months of doing it in a new way.

According to WrestleVotes, a source is saying that WWE will be changing the press conference after this weekend’s Clash At The Castle to a “post show”. There is no word on if this means questions from the media will still be taken. It is also not clear if this will be a one off change or a permanent move. WWE has been holding post-Premium Live Event press conferences for over a year.

Interesting tidbit: Source states WWE is altering its plans for a ‘press conference’ after this Saturday’s Clash at the Castle PLE. It will now just be a ‘post show,’ with the possibility of media questions still undetermined.

WWE has had some moments at these things. Check out some of the press conferences:

Opinion: This makes sense, as WWE does have a history of liking to control everything they can. I wouldn’t be surprised to see them take away the press aspect of these shows and just make it a generic recap event with sound bytes. At the end of the day, the press events always felt a bit forced anyway, so maybe getting rid of what they seem like is a better idea.
