Over the weekend, a rumor from the Pro Wrestling News Twitter account said that WWE was working on a Women’s Intercontinental and a Women’s United States Title, which would be introduced in the near future. Monday Night Raw and SmackDown would both have their own title. Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com is reporting that wrestlers he has spoken to have not heard of the titles being introduced, but hope that they do. There is no word on when or how the titles would be introduced.

It could be interesting. Check out some potential champions:
Opinion: Well just because wrestlers haven’t heard about the titles doesn’t mean they aren’t coming. I’m not sure how well this would go, but there is something interesting to the women’s division having their own midcard titles. NXT introduced their own recently and the main roster following suit would not be a shock. Hopefully WWE has the depth to make this work, but the time might be a bigger issue.
