Fans in the United States will now be able to feel as though they're watching Wrexham in the flesh.

That's thanks to their games being shown at immersive reality venues there - and the Hollywood-owned outfit aren't the only club being shown across the pond.

A select number of English Football League games have been chosen be broadcast in the futuristic venue.

Wrexham's League One clash against promotion rivals Barnsley on Tuesday December 3 will be screened live by CBS Sports at Cosm's theatres with 180 degree domed screens.

The company have venues in Dallas, Texas and Los Angeles, California.

The six fixtures chosen also include Championship sides Leeds, Sheffield United and Burnley.

Wrexham's game with promotion foes Birmingham will also been shown.

The screens on offer make fans feel as if they are sitting right next to the action, as opposed to being filmed from above or on a gantry like on usual television coverage.

The angles switch depending on where the ball is.

But each view makes those in attendance feel as they are in the front row.

It's a tough ask to get tickets for Wrexham clashes in particular given their ground only holds around 13,000 people.

But their owners Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds, as well as the Disney+ docuseries 'Welcome to Wrexham', means plenty of Americans want to watch the Welsh outfit.

And it remains to be seen what the appetite will be for the other EFL fixtures.

Manchester United's 1-0 win over Fulham in August was shown in the LA venue.

Tickets for the experience could be bought from level one to level three of the 'Cosm dome'.

And prices ranged from $66 (£50.99) to $132 (£101.98).

The most common prices paid for the experience was $83 (£64.12).

While fans over in The States can imagine they're at an EFL match, supporters actually at the fixtures won't be able to tell.

Cosm install several discreet 8K cameras around a stadium to capture every angle.

There's no interference with the regular production output, either.
