Independent wrestler Patrick Scott has been recruited by WWE as the latest addition to the SmackDown writing team, set to commence his duties starting this Monday.

According to Bodyslam.net, over the weekend PWF in North Carolina organized a farewell event for Scott, where he bid adieu to the audience by leaving his boots in the ring. Expressing his gratitude on social media, Scott stated, “I’ll have a lot more to say in the coming days. For now, I will just say this… Thank you.”

Scott, who honed his skills at the Carolina Wrestling Academy in North Carolina under the tutelage of Steve Corino, Jakob Hammermeier, Zane Dawson, and Dave Dawson, made his professional debut in 2016.

His previous encounters with WWE include a tag team match on the September 17th, 2017 episode of WWE NXT, teaming up with Demitrius Bronson, and a singles match during the April 11th, 2018 episode of WWE NXT against Kona Reeves, which ended in defeat.

Scott holds accolades such as the former Deadlock Pro Wrestling World’s Tag Team Champion alongside his partner Chance Rizer and a two-time PWF Unified Tag Team Champion.

Updates regarding Patrick Scott’s new role with WWE will be provided as more information becomes available, so keep checking back to Ringside News.
