WWE has been enjoying one of the most successful eras of the company starting off right when Triple H took charge of the creative control. Though the product was very interesting prior to his arrival, his mindset helped fans get what they wanted every single week. With WrestleMania 40 on the horizon, wrestling fans have not been able to contain their excitement for the show.
While all the three brands of the company have been doing great, Smackdown has been on a roll for the past few weeks. Though The Rock’s arrival to the blue brand is massive reason for that, other storylines on the show have also done a commendable job.
This week’s Friday Night Smackdown will be a sellout once again, extending the streak to five consecutive shows now. The episode is set to air from the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee and has a setup of more than 11000, as reported by WrestleTix.
This week’s episode of the blue brand is set to feature a face to face interaction between Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes ahead of their main event match at WrestleMania. In addition to that, WrestleMania caliber match between Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar is also set to take place on the show.
Apart from that, two tag team matches for the WrestleMania 40 Tag Team Ladder Match Qualifying tournament are also scheduled to be featured. With a stacked up lineup for the show, this week’s Smackdown is expected to be a banger episode yet again.
