WWE is undergoing significant growth and change, especially thanks to NXT’s upcoming move to the CW Network later this year. It has been confirmed that the show will kick off its new chapter with its first two episodes on the network airing from on the road. WWE hopes this shift will attract a younger audience and further boost the show’s popularity.

NXT has been televised on the USA Network for a long time, but that will end in October this year, as the show will be airing regularly on the CW Network going forward. It was also reported that the show will remain on Tuesdays after moving to the CW Network.

Shawn Michaels confirmed this week that WWE NXT is set to hit the road in celebration of its new home on the CW Network. The debut episode will be held on October 1st at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois. Following that, NXT will head to St. Louis for the show on October 8th. CM Punk will be in Chicago and Randy Orton will be there for the St. Louis show.

PWInsider has reported that WWE is considering increasing the frequency of NXT shows held outside of the Performance Center. The goal is to elevate NXT’s prestige ahead of its move to broadcast TV. By hosting events in various locations, WWE hopes to attract younger audiences and introduce them to the broader WWE programming.

On top of that, WWE plans to enhance NXT’s appeal by featuring more main roster talents as guest stars or potential regulars. This strategy is intended to further strengthen NXT’s position and increase its visibility.

WWE is also pulling in substantially more money with their CW deal and fans can expect to see quite a few changes on the show, so it remains to be seen if NXT will see major improvements in October.
