WWE NXT Viewership Rises 15%, Demo Dips Against NBA Playoffs On 5/21

WWE NXT viewership increased on May 21.

Wrestlenomics reports that 654,000 viewers tuned in on Tuesday. This number is up from last week, when 567,000 viewers watched the show. NXT was up against the NBA Eastern Conference Finals game between the Boston Celtics and the Indiana Pacers. The game averaged a combined 6,433,000 viewers and a 2.06 P18-49 rating across ESPN and ESPN 2.

In the 18 to 49 demographic, NXT scored a 0.17 rating. This marks a decrease from last week (0.18 rating).

The May 21 episode of WWE NXT featured qualifiers for the NXT Women’s North American Championship match at NXT Battleground. Plus, Wes Lee faced Joe Coffey and Josh Briggs. In the main event, Natalya and Karmen Petrovic faced Lola Vice and Shayna Baszler.
