WWE hosted NXT Vengeance Day on Sunday night and there were quite a few title matches on the card, including the NXT Women’s Championship. It appears this match ended up getting rave reviews backstage after the show.

At NXT Vengeance Day, Roxanne Perez took on Lyra Valkyria for the NXT Women’s Championship. Perez seemed to have the upper hand until Lola Vice abruptly interfered, capitalizing on her Breakout Contract and disrupting the title bout.

Tatum Paxley’s effort to stop Lola Vice’s interference proved unsuccessful, turning the match into a triple threat. While Lola Vice initially dominated, an unsuccessful attack by Tatum created an opening for Lyra Valkyria. Capitalizing on the opportunity, Lyra executed her signature move on Vice, securing the victory in the triple threat encounter.

According to Sean Ross Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, it was reported that all three women in the NXT Women’s Champion bout received rave reviews backstage, especially Lola Vice.

”The NXT Women’s Championship Match was very well received backstage, with praise for all three women involved, especially Lola Vice.”

We will have to wait and see how what the future holds for Lyra Valkyria as the NXT Women’s Champion, as it is clear the company has a lot of high hopes for the young WWE Superstar.
