WWE Provides Jade Cargill Injury Update

WWE has provided an update on Jade Cargill’s status following the brutal attack she received this week.

Following the attack she received on SmackDown, WWE revealed today on social media that Cargill suffered deep lumbar paraspinal muscle contusions, a bruised kidney, andprained MCL in her right knee, a tibial plateau bone bruise of her right knee, and facial lacerations.

As of now, no timetable for her return has been set by WWE. It’s unclear whether or not she’ll available at future shows or events as of now.

On the November 22 episode of WWE SmackDown, WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Bianca Belair faced Chelsea Green and Blair Davenport in a WWE Women’s United States Championship Tournament match. During the bout, Belair’s tag team partner, Jade Cargill, was found attacked backstage. She was laid out on a car, and she was clearly hurt. Belair left the match to go check on Cargill.
