The Bloodline has gone through many changes, with Solo Sikoa taking over as the ‘Head of the Table.’ This also marked the WWE debut of the Guerrillas of Destiny, Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa, followed by Jacob Fatu joining WWE as well. It’s clear the storyline will not end anytime soon and it appears the storyline has now been criticized for being a waste of time.
Ever since returning to WWE during SummerSlam, Roman Reigns has been on a mission to dismantle the new Bloodline featuring Solo Sikoa. During the October 25th edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Jimmy and Jey Uso ended up reuniting as they fought the new Bloodline alongside Roman Reigns.
While speaking on The Brand, former WWE writer Vince Russo shared his frustration with the Bloodline storyline. He said that WWE has a few more Samoans ready to be introduced, but he thinks the storyline has gone on for too long and is getting boring.
Russo pointed out that he’s seen people online talking about how they keep adding more Samoans, and he wonders how long they will keep doing this. He feels it’s like they’re replacing a strong group with a weaker one, which makes the storyline less believable and feels like a waste of time for fans.
“I’m reading on the internet with this Bloodline, like there are two or three more Samoans lined up. I’m like ‘My God, Heyman wasn’t lying when he said it was the top of the third two years ago.’ We’re just gonna keep bringing in Samoans and just keep running this gameplan for like how long? I’m so over it and I’m so freaking tired of it. When you’re clearly replacing an A-team with a B-team and then we’re supposed to believe that weaker B-team is gonna go over at the end. It makes the whole thing such a massive waste of time.”
We already have the spoiler results on what will happen with The Usos and Roman Reigns during the November 1st edition of Friday Night SmackDown and it’s expected their storyline will continue well into 2025, so we’ll have to see how WWE continues to book The Bloodline in the coming months, as Vince Russo certainly doesn’t believe it’s worthwhile anymore.
